Dr. Mike Murray Appointed Chair of GAMMA Board

We are proud to announce that Dr Mike Murray, Chief Innovation Officer at The Vita Group, has been appointed as the Chair of the Graphene, Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Alliance (GAMMA) board in Greater Manchester, UK.

GAMMA, established to foster growth and innovation in the advanced materials and manufacturing sector. It connects industry, academia, and business  to support  innovation in advanced materials and manufacturing sectors.

GAMMA’s vision is to create an advanced materials and manufacturing super-cluster in the North, driving a more productive, sustainable, highly skilled, and innovative industry.

Since joining The Vita Group in 2020, Mike has spearheaded our innovation pipeline, positioning us as leaders in both innovation and sustainability. This announcement marks another milestone in our journey, enabling us to further support and learn from the advanced materials and manufacturing spaces.

On his new role, Mike said, “This is an exciting time for our industry, and Greater Manchester is at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and materials innovation.
