The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for everyone across the foam industry during 2020 and into 2021, not least the availability of raw materials. At Vita, we are fully aware that our customers see other suppliers and us as part of one supply chain.
As the leading flexible polyurethane foam business in Europe, naturally, we are not immune to this challenge. We have been working closely with our partners to ensure our strategic efforts support them during this difficult time.
Omar Khan, CFO at The Vita Group, assures customers and supply chain partners: “Based on our deep relationships and conversations with partners further up the value chain, we are increasingly confident that supply will increase and there will be more products available.”
At Vita, we work with several suppliers and research institutes to develop new products and shape the future of the supply chain. As part of these innovations, we recently launched our ESG vision. We will continue developing innovative new products to support our partners and the whole supply chain, whether they are bio-polyols, renewable, recyclable, or low carbon.
These developments are possible because we work hand in hand with the leaders in the supply chain, including some of the largest chemical companies in the world. We all face the same challenges, but we also have the same ambitions.
In The Vita Group’s 70-year history, we have proven time and time again that we are a catalyst for positive change for our customers and our suppliers.
