We’ve trained all our senior managers on the importance of sustainability and why as a business it is critical for us to work in a more sustainable and circular way. We constantly update our team through events such as our Lakes workshop, where we had the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills on sustainable practices by working with SME’s.
In 2022 we launched our first people network WAVE (Women at Vita Everywhere) the network has been established to support all employees and educate all on the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion. We want to foster an environment that champions safety, diversity, engagement and ethical conduct at all levels of the business.

In December 2021, The Vita Group has pledged 300 mattresses to support Shelter UK. Last Christmas the Manchester based company donated a further 100 to those in need of a safe place to sleep.
We care about our colleagues. Our internal health and safety quarter Better You, Better Life allows all employees from across all sites to take part in a variety of activities which promotes mental and physical wellness.
Safety is one of our values and it is our number one priority. We want to assure all our colleagues return home safely from work and believe that one accident is one to many. We are passionate about caring for each other.
Vita is passionate about sustainability which is why we have set ourselves ambitious ESG targets. To help us reach our goals, and ensure we are accountable for them, we have signed with the UN Global Compact, as well as being the first European PU foam manufacturer to align with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
By publishing our commitments, employees, stakeholders, customers, and suppliers can independently review whether we’ve ‘put words into action’. Sustainability is built into everything that we do at The Vita Group.
