Vita Is One Of The Few Round Block Manufacturers In Europe

The Vita Group is one of the few round block technical manufacturers and converters in Europe. Vita has peeling machines located across sites in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. Benefits of round block include:

  • Increased distance between the foam joins
  • Reduces the minimum order quantity per stock keeping unit
  • Improved thickness capability
  • Width 100cm to 226cm
  • Thickness 0.75mm to 24.5mm

Automotive Applications

Soft Interior Trim

The Vita Group’s soft interior trim portfolio includes a range of foams, both polyether or polyester based with TDI or MDI technology, offering a perfect comfort and experience. For use in applications such as headliners, door panels, and ABC-pillars, our foams are designed to cover the toughest shapes offering superb touch to the end product.

ECO2Foam™

  • Polyether foams which contain waste CO2 taken from the exhaust systems of energy plants  and it is built into the polyether Polyol.

Hydrolysis Resistant Foam

  • Hydrolysis improved polyester polyurethane foams improves the longevity of laminated foams particularly in higher humidity conditions are experienced.

Novada

  • Halogen free flame retardant, closed cell MDI-based polyether foam for barrier applications. Suitable for insitu-moulded head rests, one-step headliner processes (Tramivex) and all door panel applications.

Lo-M Foam

  • Extremely low emission foams fulfilling the most severe requirements in regards to emissions and ageing on the market and this with halogen free flame retardants.

Low Fogging Foam

  • Polyester foams that contain reduced levels of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) reducing the ‘fogging’ potentially seen on automotive windscreens.

Reticulated Foam

  • Reticulated foams, ranging from pore sizes PPI 10 to PPI 110, are used in applications such as ventilated seats where the breathability of the material is essential. Low emission and flame retardant foams are also available.

Halogen Free Foam

  • Polyurethane foams modified to provide typically FMVSS302 compliance in according to OEM specifications without the need to use a halogenated flame retardant.  These foams are designed to give excellent performance when used in demanding moulding situations.

Low Porosity Foam

  • Reduced air flow polyurethane foams allowing good sealing for gasket and seal applications. Improvement in Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) is observed.

Flame Retardant Foam

  • Polyurethane foams that are modified to enhance their fire performance behaviour and more specifically designed to meet FMVSS302 flammability standards in line with OEM requirements.

Seals & Gaskets

Vita offers a wide range of closed cell and impregnated foams especially designed for sealing applications. Our in-house innovation centre allows us to develop foams together with our customers according to their needs and requirements of OEM’s.

Lo-M

  • Extremely low emission foams fulfilling the most severe requirements in regards to emissions and ageing on the market and this with halogen free flame retardants.

Novada

  • Halogen free flame retardant, closed cell MDI-based polyether foam for barrier applications. Suitable for insitu-moulded head rests, one-step headliner processes (Tramivex) and all door panel applications.

ECO2Foam™

  • Polyether foams which contain waste CO2 taken from the exhaust systems of energy plants and it is built into the polyether Polyol.

Q-Seal

  • Q-SEAL has been developed to replace EPDM foams in automotive sealing applications in close co-operation with  leading OEM’s. The extremely fine cell structure and hydrophobic nature makes Q-Seal the material of choice for HVAC sealing applications.

Hydrolysis Resistant Foam

  • Hydrolysis improved polyester polyurethane foams improves the longevity of laminated foams particularly in higher humidity conditions are experienced.

Low Fogging

  • Polyester foams that contain reduced levels of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). Such foams are able to reduce the ‘fogging’ potentially seen on automotive windscreens.

NVH

The Vita Group manufactures a wide range of products for sealing, noise insulation and vibration damping materials for the Automotive, Public transport, Vehicle and Construction industries. Vita’s Open-cell and flexible polyurethane foams are ideal materials for the reduction of noise emissions in a vast range of products and applications.

Q-Seal

  • Q-SEAL has been developed to replace EPDM foams in automotive sealing applications in close co-operation with  leading OEM’s. The extremely fine cell structure and hydrophobic nature makes Q-Seal the material of choice for HVAC sealing applications.

METZONOR®

  • METZONOR® 023 is a well-known foam utilised in the global tyre industry. This innovative product improves driving comfort by significantly lowering both noise and vibration inside the car.

Reticulated Foam

  • Reticulated foams, ranging from pore sizes PPI 10 to PPI 110, are used in applications such as ventilated seats where the breathability of the material is essential. Low emission and flame retardant foams are also available.

NaWaRo™

  • Using renewable raw materials, such as sunflower oil, we save fossil resources and enter into a circular economy.

ECO2Foam™

  • Polyether foams which contain waste CO2 taken from the exhaust systems of energy plants  and it is built into the polyether Polyol.

Hydrolysis Resistant

  • Hydrolysis improved polyester polyurethane foams improves the longevity of laminated foams particularly in higher humidity conditions are experienced.
