Impregnated Foams
Vita’s impregnated foam range contains both open cell acoustic and flame retardant foams. Our open cell acoustic foams performance is excellent for noise absorption typically for a cellular material but unusually high deadening performance is attributable to the high density gained from impregnation. The high mass helps to reduce vibration in metal enclosures hence drumming and noise breakout. Products include:

- Composite Foam Laminates
Our open cell flame retardant foam was originally developed as safety critical foam to meet the stringent requirements of BS6853, for use as seat trim foam for underground rolling stock. Products include:

HVAC
Vita’s products have been designed to provide acoustic insulation to the duct system and improve the thermal performance. Our products are available in sheets, rolls or kits, self-adhesive backed to easily be fixed to the internal walls for highly effective long term noise control. Our products will not shed particles at air movements up to 10,000 ft per minute.
Compressors & Power Generation
Vita have developed a range of high performance open celled acoustic polyurethane foams and composite products which provide high levels of deadening and sound transmission whilst meeting industry safety standards.
Marine
Premium Marine Laminates, typically consisting of several layers in addition to a protective facing for cosmetic and practical functions:

Reticulated Foams
Improcel is Vita’s open cell reticulated polyether and polyester based polyurethane filtration foams which have been post treated for various different applications such as flame retardancy, heat and moisture exchange, rigidity and resistance to water, humidity, soap, oils and lubricants.

Specialised Foams
Revesorb is Vita’s low density polyurethane flexible foam containing a flame retardant additive for reducing ease of ignition. Revesorb has good acoustic absorption performance and is ideal for applications where weight is a consideration. Commonly utilised in the compressor and generator industry within canopies and enclosures.

Commercial & Industrial Vehicles
The engine bay is a major source of unwanted noise. Combustion in diesel engines can be violent and spontaneous, producing high vibrations and noise at a broad frequency range. Vita’s lightweight acoustic foams offer excellent acoustic performance across these frequencies.
High Load Bearing Foams
Vita offers a wide range of HLB products and services, this includes manufacturing of both polyester and polyether foams. These foams can be used for both flexible and firm sanding abrasives pads. Alternatively, the HLB foams can also be used for protective packaging and for office pods.

Protective Packaging
Vita have hundreds of sizes and countless customisation options to meet customers’ project specifications. We collaborate to identify all protective needs and design the ideal solution for the application. State of the art CNC Router and cutting technology has been designed to offer improved high-performance foam solutions and flexible cutting capabilities of both open and closed cell grades of foam. Bespoke engineered foam parts, such as high value packaging and case inserts, can be designed and made through to realization within a short lead-time.
Polishing Pads
The Vita Group manufactures a huge range of durable automotive polishing pads. These pads can be manufactured in different diameters ranging from 80mm – 280mm, and thicknesses subject to the end users requirements.
Abrasives
Vita offers a wide range of abrasive products and services, this includes manufacturing of both polyester and polyether foams. These foams can be used for both flexible and firm sanding abrasives pads. In addition to polyurethane foam, we can also offer lamination services including flame and adhesive to various customers free issue substrates.
Conductive Foams
Our conductive foam range consists of two main products:
- Microsorb is a comprehensive range of microwave absorbent products developed for free space and cavity resonance application. Products include carbon impregnated reticulated foam, carbon impregnated non-woven needled textiles and custom composite products. Commonly used within telecommunication domes and antennae, and RAM panels for military use.
- Gausstat Conductive is a polyether polyurethane foam impregnated with a conductive latex, which can be used to safely store and package electronic components that are prone to damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD).

Vita delivers a comprehensive range of microwave absorber products developed for free space and cavity resonance applications. Including low loss dielectric filled polymers, carbon impregnated reticulated foam, carbon impregnated non-woven needled textiles and custom composite products. Our Radio Frequency/Microwave Absorbers and Dielectrics line features flexible, low loss dielectrics, Electro-magnetic Interference noise reduction, heat path disposition and microwave absorption.

The Vita Group manufactures a huge range of durable automotive polishing pads. These pads can be manufactured in different diameters ranging from 80mm – 280mm, and thicknesses subject to the end users requirements.
We can offer various options of soft, medium and firm subject to the compound the end user is using. Various colours are available, along with facings which can be applied to one surface. We can offer radiuses and recesses on the pads subject to the application.
