The Vita Group celebrates dual safety award wins. Two of our Vita Comfort manufacturing sites have won prestigious health & safety awards for work undertaken to protect employees from the risk of injury and ill-health.

Comfort’s Middleton site received an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council and the UK Usleep team have also been officially recognised with a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) award.

The Vita Group's HQ in Middleton, Manchester, UKThe International Safety Award from the British Safety Council was presented in recognition of Middleton’s commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe during the 2021 calendar year. Our Middleton site is one of just 204 organizations to win a Merit in the International Safety Awards 2022.

The Vita Group celebrates dual safety award wins - International Safety Awards 2022 logoThe International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill-health during the previous calendar year. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

Safety is our number one priority, and we want to make sure everyone who comes to work at one of our sites can go home to their loved ones each day. Usleep win RoSPA

The Vita Group celebrates dual safety award wins - ROSPA Silver Award logoWe are also celebrating Usleep’s achievement of regaining a RoSPA award. This is the second year in a row that Usleep has been presented with a RoSPA award – one of the most prestigious and recognised health & safety schemes in the world. Usleep produces a range of foam, spring and hybrid mattresses for several of the UK’s leading mattress retailers and Bed in the Box (BiB) brands.

As these awards prove, we really are leading the way with its approach to safety – an approach that involves not just effectively minimising every day onsite risks but also supporting the mental health and general wellbeing of our colleagues.
