The Vita Group supports effort for 25,000 mattresses needed by NHS

The challenge to meet the increasing demand for medical foam within the UK is being met by The Vita Group and its subsidiary Vita UK, a BHTA Member company

Our partner healthcare companies are supplying the NHS, who require over 25,000 additional mattresses and associated products. We are supporting this need at both our block plant and conversion facilities.

The block production line in Middleton, Manchester, is prioritising the manufacturing of critical medical foam grades required by our healthcare partners.

Conversion units at Bedford, Dukinfield and Stakehill are currently manufacturing a further 8000 mattresses with a plan to ramp up production over the coming weeks to meet further demand.

The Vita Group’s employees are doing everything they can, to deliver on these critical products that support our country’s COVID-19 response.
